Tony Li serves as Vice President of Brokerage Sales at Barnum Tri State. He brings two decades of financial services leadership, with deep expertise in advanced markets, estate and business succession planning, premium financing, and cross-border wealth strategy.
Before joining Barnum Tri State, Tony spent over a decade leading advanced planning at a major life insurer. He directed advanced markets strategy across a multi-state region, drove substantial growth in premium production, and built and led a team of planning specialists supporting thousands of financial professionals.
Tony is known for helping advisors work through complex cases and turn them into well-designed, tailored solutions for high-net-worth families and business owners. His work spans estate planning, liquidity and capital strategies, business succession, and advisor development. He is also an experienced speaker and educator who has led estate planning seminars and advanced planning training programs for financial professionals.
At Barnum Tri State, Tony is building the firm's advanced planning resources while expanding its brokerage platform and supporting independent advisors with the case design, expertise, and resources they need to grow their practices and better serve their clients.
Tony holds a B.A. in Finance from Baruch College, CUNY, and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Outside of work, he is an avid runner and longtime martial arts practitioner.
